Ballina Fine Food and Wine Festival

BALLINA’S Fine Food and Wine Festival is on this Sunday, May 29.

More than 60 exhibitors have now committed and organisers say that all is set for a fantastic event.
“We’ve still got plenty of work to do but I’m confident that on the day we’ll be putting our best foot forward as we did in 2010,” event chair Milton Colburt said.

“Running an event like this requires total commitment and a rigorous approach to planning – there’s still a lot of work going on behind the scenes, which is understandable.”

A principal consideration for event organisers will be the weather.

“The success of events like this is generally weather-dependent, so we’re hoping the weather gods will smile on the day,” Mr Colburt said.
